We had a deathrun game night while I was DR staff, it included a lot of the TTT staff at the time and a few of the community deathrun members. They will realize just as I did that its near impossible to do so. Outside of the players within the community, there arent enough people that play deathrun to bring it enough traffic to even get those updates.Įvery now and again someone will come along, just like Nathan and I did, that wants to give their all into reviving deathrun. I thought that with a big update it may bring players within the community to try deathrun, but the stigma of "Ew deadrun" is just far too embedded in their minds that nothing will ever change that. Its hard to get players to stick around and play again when the servers dont have much to offer with playtime. When I was exclusively deathrun staff, I was able to get people on it periodically, but the momentum never stuck. Both and myself have tried in the past to revive deathrun, with both of us putting a lot of time and effort into getting updates for the server. Deathrun is a lot of fun with the right amount of people, but there just isn't enough people in the community that plays it.
